Pregnancy counseling at LFS is focused on promoting the best interests
of all involved: the baby, birth parents and extended family. LFS counselors
work closely with birth parents and their families to explore all options
clearly so they can make a well-informed life plan for their baby and
themselves. As advocates for life-giving decisions, we provide:
 |
Pregnancy counseling for single
parents leading toward parenting or adoption |
 |
Ongoing support for the birth family |
 |
Educational presentations encouraging abstinence |
Pregnancy counseling services are available to all families, regardless
of individual religious beliefs or church affiliation. Pregnancy counselors
make home visits anywhere in Iowa if the family is not able to travel
to an LFS office.
If you would like to speak to a pregnancy counselor, please contact Trisha
Easton, LISW, Director of Pregnancy Counseling and Adoption Services at

or (800) 622-7285.
