Counseling

Finding a counselor who can be really helpful to you is not the easiest thing you’ll ever do. Where do you begin? It’s not like this is something you do everyday. But something isn’t working in your life and you’ve come to the point where it’s time to seek help. We’re glad you found your way here.

It takes a lot of courage to share your story with a total stranger.  We’re here to listen, to understand, to work to help you sort through your situation and to walk with you. If you desire, we’ll pray and search the Scriptures with you to help you determine the best direction to travel. 

If this sounds just a little too “religious” for you, don’t worry! We will work with you regardless of where you’re at spiritually, and we won’t try to impose our spiritual beliefs on you.  Both of us know that wouldn’t be helpful. 

No matter what you believe or don’t believe or what the problems are that have brought you here, we would be honored to provide a safe place where you can just be yourself and where healing can begin.

We accept most major medical insurance including Medicare and Title XIX.  If you don’t have insurance, you can use our sliding fee scale which is based on your income and the number of people who live on that income to make counseling affordable for you.  We never turn anyone away because of an inability to pay.
